Gulfstream Caps 2021 with Year in Review

Mesa, Arizona Customer Service Center to Soon Begin Operations out of Rented Facility

Gulfstream Celebrated the last year with their customer service program, capping off a year of expansions, customer service enhancements and sustainability changes.

The company expanded its Farnborough, UK service Center, bringing its staff to more than 230 employees. The location has earned 30 regulatory approvals throughout the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East to be able to provide factory-quality repair and overhaul. The Farnborough Airport has partnered with Gulfstream to address local sustainability goals, including a decreased carbon footprint and zero emission target, as well as the sale of sustainable aviation fuel for customers passing through. Similar expansion and eco-initiatives have taken place across Gulfstream's other locations, from Palm Beach, Florida, to Fort Worth, Texas. Only a short time before the end of the year, the company announced an all-new service center in Mesa, Arizona, expected to obtain LEED Silver certification. The installation will have a considerable focus on sustainability, from low-water-demand plumbing systems to heat-reflective building materials to fight the desert sun.

“The business aviation industry has experienced great gains in 2021, and Gulfstream Customer Support has been well-positioned to support our customers around the world as their flying increases,” said Derek Zimmerman, president of customer support. “As we continue to implement our master plan for customer-focused expansions in strategic locations, we are establishing our industry’s most modern facilities to accommodate Gulfstream’s growing fleet of next-generation aircraft, including the recently announced all-new large-cabin Gulfstream G400 and ultralong-range Gulfstream G800, and the industry-leading Gulfstream G700, and we’re doing so sustainably.”
