Cirrus Design Corporation introduced a special edition at the
65th annual AOPA Expo. The GTS (unofficially an acronym for
Generation Two - Special) is available in either a 200 or 310
horsepower model of the popular SR product line. Both the SR20-GTS
and SR22-GTS are loaded with every factory-installed option plus
some additional accents only available on this premium edition.
“Cirrus has again introduced a unique model with every
factory option available as we did with the highly successful
Centennial Edition in 2003,” stated Randy S. Bolinger, vice
president of marketing at Cirrus. “Plus we’ve included
a number of special touches that aren’t available on other
models for people who want the crème de le
crème.” The fully-loaded GTS models are further
distinguished by the custom-color perforated leather interior and
special exterior accents that include GTS graphics, tinted rear
windows, a polished spinner, and chrome steps and grab handles.
GTS models are equipped with every factory-installed option
currently available for the appropriate model including new options
like CMax electronic approach plates by Avidyne, XM weather
datalink, KGP-560 Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System by
Honeywell and the recently announced Tailwind Advantage by Cirrus.
The table below highlights the full complement of options included
as standard equipment on the SR20-GTS and SR22-GTS models.

Adding the Tailwind Advantage to the GTS special edition means
there is virtually nothing extra the customer will need to purchase
to enjoy the first years of aircraft ownership.
