NexAir Avionics' Saratoga NX Captures Purchase Commitment

Strong Pilot Interest In The Airplane At AirVenture

NexAir Avionics, who retrofit proven GA airframes with digital flight technology, announced that they have received a purchase commitment and enthusiastic pilot interest in the Saratoga NX , a completely modernized and upgraded Saratoga and the first to feature the Avidyne Entegra Release 9 Integrated Flight Deck (IFD).

In the first hours of the show, a pilot committed to purchase the inaugural Saratoga NX. A steady stream of other pilots has expressed strong interest in delivery slots commencing in October for an aircraft that delivers maximum value and advanced avionics capabilities without the high price, steep depreciation, and increased insurance costs of a new airplane. Fly-away pricing for a superbly equipped Saratoga NX is less than $400,000; an owner of an existing Saratoga can transform it into a Saratoga NX for under $250,000. The Saratoga NX and the industry-leading Cirrus are the only aircraft available today with the Entegra R9 IFD.

"The Saratoga NX has really hit a sweet spot in the market for a six-place business and personal aircraft with state-of-the-art avionics and a spinner-to-tail modernization," said David Fetherston, president of NexAir. "Pilots immediately see the value, and that is showing in the incredibly strong interest we're seeing and hearing at AirVenture."

The Saratoga NX is the product of the NexAir Aircraft Integration and Re-engineering (AIR) program, a clean-slate approach to revitalizing trusted and highly capable business and personal aircraft. It is the result of more than 60 years of experience that NexAir principals have in avionics design and systems engineering, their reputation for integrity and professionalism and their deep understanding of the technical and practical flying aspects of today's most advanced avionics systems.
