You Should See What John Travolta Parks In His Back Yard

It's the ultimate in high-speed commuting. When actor John Travolta comes home from a long day, he parks his Qantas 707 in the garage and kisses the wife hello. That's right, a Boeing 707.

The London Daily Telegraph reports Travolta has just put the finishing touches on his new mansion at Jumbolair, a fly-in community about 78 miles northwest of Orlando (FL). It's about 6733 sq. ft., with eight bedrooms, a 10-car garage and a sort of carport that covers the walkway from his home to the cockpit of his 707.

Travolta was a Qantas ambassador, flying the 707 around the world on what the airline called a "Spirit of Friendship" tour. He bought the aircraft five years ago.

"The great thing is I can park my jets in my backyard," he said.

Travolta's Gulfstream is also tied down at the $4.9 million mansion.
