Yingling Aviation Named Garmin Integrated Flight Deck Dealer

Wichita-Based Center Is Authorized To Sell And Install Garmin G1000 Through G5000 Avionics On Broad Range Of Business Aircraft

Yingling Aviation has been named a Garmin Integrated Flight Deck Dealer and approved by Garmin Avionics to install its new G5000 glass upgrade suite. The G5000 is Garmin’s latest line of satellite-based navigation capabilities, digital management tools, NextGen/SESAR/Eurocontrol operational support for ADS-B and Data Comm/Link 2000+ and graphical display technologies for enhanced safety and crew coordination.

Yingling was approved to be a member of the very limited number of Garmin Upgrade Centers based on its extensive experience maintaining and installing Garmin avionics. “We have been an approved Garmin facility for many years and our extensive experience installing hundreds of Garmin units equips us with the expertise to add this top-of-the-line Garmin equipment to the avionics we currently install,” said Bob Gallop, Yingling’s Vice President, Repair Station Operations.

“This appointment means we are factory authorized to install the full range of Garmin solutions from the G5000 on the Citation Excel and XLS jets, G1000 on King Airs, twin engine and single engine, and G300 platforms on single engine airplanes. We will be concentrating on the G5000 upgrade on Citation models included in the upcoming STC and we’re scheduling slots for retrofits to begin as soon as the STC is approved,” he added.
