After Two Years of Virtual Gatherings, Popular Forum to Host In-Person and Virtual Attendees
In 2007, the CAFE Foundation—a California-based, non-profit aviation development and flight test organization—hosted the first annual Electric Aircraft Symposium (EAS), bringing together a small group of visionaries who believed that electric-powered aircraft were not only possible, but practical.
Now in its 16th year and hosted by the Vertical Flight Society—a non-profit technical society for the advancement of vertical flight—the upcoming Electric Aircraft Symposium will bring together over forty of the world's leading electric aircraft developers and technology experts.
This year’s event will be held in-person and online in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on 23 – 24 July 2022—the weekend prior to AirVenture 2022.
After two years of virtual-only programming, the world's longest-running electric aviation technology meeting returns with a hybrid event staged concomitantly at the Culver Family Welcome Center on the University of Wisconsin’s Oshkosh campus, and online.
This year's symposium will cover the latest in electric aircraft, propulsion systems, energy sources, certification, regional and urban use cases, and prevailing market opportunities.
Each moderated panel session—in accordance with EAS tradition—will include a Q&A discussion with presenters and attendees.
Session topics will include:
- Electric Aviation Global Overview
- AAM Demand Forecasting
- Autonomy
- Vertiports
- Noise
- Urban Operations
- Cargo Operations
- Hydrogen
- Community Integration
- Certification
- Motors and Propulsion Systems
- Regional Operations
- Defense / Public Services
