Butow, 129th RQW commander, in statements that followed the 129th Rescue Wing's successful completion of a complex, overwater rescue of an injured ship hand from a Marshall Islands flagged merchant vessel approximately 300 miles off the coast of Mexico on Nov, 29. The rescue mission increases the wing's total lives saved to 957.
