EAA Coordinating Forums At Sebring US Sport Aviation Expo

EAA will coordinate the educational forums at the third annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo scheduled for January 11-14, 2007, at the Sebring Regional Airport, Florida. The Expo, which kicks off the 2007 aviation calendar of events, showcases the rapidly expanding number of available light-sport aircraft (LSA).

In just two years, the Expo has become one of the most popular events for aviation enthusiasts to see, try, buy, or sell LSA. It also provides opportunities for people to learn about new recreational aircraft, the sport pilot certificate, and other LSA-related requirements and certifications through the EAA-led forums.

“The Expo is a great opportunity for people to shop the market and compare the many choices of available LSA in a low-pressure environment,” said Ron Wagner, EAA manager of field operations and EAA Sport Pilot Tour coordinator, who is putting together the forum schedule.

“It’s a gathering of who’s who in the light-sport arena. Of course, no one minds heading to Central Florida in the middle of January, either.”

The slate of forums is filling up fast, but openings are available for additional sessions. Wagner asks that anyone wishing to present a forum during the Expo contact him via e-mail at rwagner@eaa.org.
