Operations Certified By FAA Last Month
Executive AirShare announced Tuesday that the Kansas City,
MO-based regional fractional aircraft ownership company is the
first to operate an Embraer Phenom 300 light jet aircraft under
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135, after receiving
certification on March 31. The Phenom 300 (file photo, right)
is owned by a third party customer and is managed by
Executive AirShare's wholly owned subsidiary, Executive Flight
Services. The aircraft is based at Ft. Worth Meacham International
Airport (FTW) in Texas.
Executive AirShare has a total of eight Phenom 100 and one
Phenom 300 in its combined fractional and managed fleets. In April
2009, Executive AirShare became the first company to operate a
Phenom 100 aircraft under FAA Part 135 and 91(k).
"Both the Phenom 300 and Phenom 100 offer exceptional
performance and low direct operating costs, making them among the
best aircraft available in the marketplace today," said Keith D.
Plumb, Executive AirShare president and chief operating officer.
"We look forward to adding more Phenom 300 and Phenom 100 aircraft
to our managed and fractional fleet in the near future."
Plumb adds that by managing the Phenom 300 aircraft, the
Executive AirShare pilots and maintenance crews have gained
valuable experience with the aircraft prior to the fractional
aircraft ownership company taking delivery of its first Phenom 300.
The company holds orders for six Phenom 300s and is the only
established fractional aircraft ownership company to offer both the
Phenom 100 and Phenom 300.
