Social Media Campaign Aims To Raise Money For Young Eagles

STS Aviation Group Sets $2,000 Goal Earmarked For Introductory Flights

A social media campaign to raise money for the EAA Young Eagles has been launched by STS Aviation Group, a conglomeration of aviation service companies. Their goal is to raise $2,000, which will help EAA Young Eagles provide the American Youth with free flights and an introduction into the world of aviation.

With the support of EAA Young Eagles, STS is launching a social media campaign through Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, in order to raise money and spread awareness of the unique opportunities that EAA offers to the American youth. STS Aviation Group has made it simple and quick for those who are willing to help. For each new “like,” follow, and connection STS receives on their Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages, STS will donate $1 to EAA Young Eagles. To make it even easier, STS has four different LinkedIn profiles that all count for the campaign: Component Solutions, AeroStaff Services, Engineering Solutions, and Line Maintenance.

The social media campaign got underway at the beginning of February and continue throughout the month. The goal is to raise $2,000 for EAA Young Eagles. Though the goal is ambitious, the company would like to stress that every little bit helps.

Philip Anson Jr., CEO of STS Aviation Group, stated, “STS is very excited for the opportunity to partner up with EAA and the Young Eagles to help promote America’s youth to find their love and passion for aviation. We believe it is never too early to introduce someone to airplanes, and STS looks forward to continuing its involvement with the Young Eagles and other organizations like it to continue to build upon a solid base of young people who are being exposed to some aspect of the aviation industry.”
