CAE Deploys Boeing 737 NG FSS To Air France Training Center

Will Train Pilots From Multiple European And African Carriers

CAE announced Tuesday that it has relocated a Boeing 737NG full-flight simulator (FFS) to the Air France training center located in Orly, France. The FFS recently received qualification and is now ready for training. CAE is installing the simulator in Paris to primarily support the training needs of pilots from Transavia France, a carrier who is part of the Air France- KLM group. The simulator which is part of CAE's global training network will also be used to train pilots from other European and African operators.

"We are very excited to have received qualification for this B737NG simulator. We are now ready to offer pilots from Transavia France localized training, as well as providing a new choice of training locations to pilots form other airlines," said Gilles Compagnion, Deputy Vice President Flight crew Training Department at Air France.

"With the relocation of our simulator, CAE is pleased to work in partnership with Air France in offering Transavia pilots the convenience of local training on the Boeing 737NG aircraft," said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Simulation Products, Training and Services. "The ability to serve our customers with convenient and flexible locations through our extensive network of training centers is one of our priorities and one of the many ways we stand apart from our competition."
