Canada's Premier Aviation Set To Grow Business

Acquires Discovery Air's Technical Services Division

Premier Aviation Overhaul Centre Inc., an aircraft heavy maintenance and paint organization based in Canada, has successfully completed the acquisition of substantially all of the Assets of Discovery Air's Technical Services Division ("DATS"). The offer to purchase, which was subject to due diligence was first announced by both parties in June 2015 and was signed January 08, 2016.

The DATS acquisition expands Premier's physical footprint adding another maintenance hangar to the current three international facilities, and is their second location in Quebec. The purchase, adds four to five more lines of aircraft maintenance, expanding Premier's service capacity. The acquisition immediately adds an estimated one hundred and thirty qualified and experienced employees to the Premier Aviation workforce.

"This most recent acquisition, further solidifies our position in Quebec, expands and enhances our workforce, and delivers additional service offerings," said Ronnie Di Bartolo, Premier's president and CEO. "It also, represents another important step in our strategic growth plan, one that will benefit our customers, our employees and the region for years to come. As our customer base continues to grow, our need for hangar capacity and skilled labor grows with it. With the acquisition of the DATS facility, we have managed to satisfy both of these requirements."

As Canada's largest airframe heavy maintenance organization, the addition of a third Canadian location provides Premier Aviation and its customers with tremendous flexibility. Premier's presence in Canada and the United States affords customers widespread access to quality airframe heavy maintenance and aircraft painting.

Premier currently provides heavy maintenance services to many of North America's largest fleets and airlines, servicing both narrow and wide-body aircraft and now adding significant regional aircraft capability. Location flexibility and skilled labour are essential commodities in an industry that continues to grow and change daily.
