Big Changes In The Works For ANN, Airborne

To Start, A New Host Will Take Over Airborne This Week... and There's MUCH More News Coming Up!

We've been hinting about major changes for ANN and Airborne and we'll be unveiling a few of them over the next few weeks... including several new staffers.

First off the bat, we looked extensively for someone to lead Airborne's next generation... and it sure looks like we've found her. She's an experienced video journalist who has been working the space coast for quite some time and has extensive credentials with the Florida Space Community.

After a bit of training and orientation early this week, we'll put Kimberly Kay into the top slot as our Airborne Host...

Before joining Aero-News Network, Ms. Kay worked for various broadcast TV stations in Florida as an anchor and a reporter.

Kimberly Kay has more than 13 years of experience in TV news. She started her career in print journalism as a correspondent for various newspapers and magazines then making the switch to broadcast journalism. Throughout Kimberly's career, she's managed to stay in the Sunshine State, working in Tampa, Sarasota and Orlando.

Kimberly is also an AP and Green Eyeshade award winning journalist for the past several years. Kimberly Kay is a Tampa native but moved to California before spending her high school years in Lima, Peru. While living in South America, she became fluent in English, Spanish and French.

Before becoming a journalist, Kimberly Kay was a professional ballerina and mezzo-soprano singer in Peru. In 2015, she became a competitive figure skater. Her other hobbies include: figure skating, skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing and traveling.... and we're about to start her on the King Ground School programs, to boot.

We'll have further (exciting!) announcements over the next few weeks... stay tuned!
