Sessions Held In Daytona Beach, FL
MT-Propeller held its biannual Worldwide Training Sessions meeting in Daytona Beach FL, late last month.
The gathering included representatives from 50 propeller shops, representing fourteen countries and five provinces, for a total of 97 individuals, including the MT-Propeller owned facility MTPUSA in Deland, Florida.
MT-Propeller vice president, engineer and test pilot Martin Albrecht led the program and presented new technical content and changes to improve service to the customer. The time spent together exchanging information between the service professionals and members of the MT-Propeller development department constantly improves product maintenance, overhaul quality and customer service. In the near future, all shops will be able to support the company's composite blades, and do all work needed to repair and overhaul them inclusive leading edge replacement.
MT-Propeller certified service stations have to have trained and qualified technicians who attend the biannual MT-Propeller training. They must use the current MT-Propeller service documentation and the required tools and workshop equipment and they have to establish a quality management to verify their work on MT-Propeller products.
MT-Propeller has already certified 62 Service Stations all over the world - including in the US, Canada, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia/New Zealand - for propeller service for the 25,000+ MT-Propeller Systems which are flying worldwide.
Training for European, Asian, Australian and African Service Stations are usually held at the company's Headquarters Facility located in Atting, Germany.
