Avidyne appears serious about turning around its customer service operation. The avionics manufacturer has appointed an 18-year industry veteran, Mark Sindone, to the position of Director of Customer Service.

A licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic, he is currently enrolled at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University pursuing a degree in Professional Aeronautics.

"Mark Sindone is one of the most important hires Avidyne has brought on board in recent memory, said Rob Higby, Avidyne's Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service. "Over the past several months, Avidyne has implemented a series of strategic moves to elevate our service and dedication to customers.
