Founded in 2007, Cleveland, Ohio based Nextant Aerospace is recognized as the first company in the world to introduce aircraft remanufacturing to the business jet market. The company started with the Nextant 400XTi, a completely-rebuilt Beechjet 400A/XP with Williams FJ44-3AP engines and the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics suite up front.
The new aircraft also has major aerodynamic enhancements and an improved engine mounting configuration with redesigned nacelles and pylons. The 400XTi is delivered with a two-year full-aircraft warranty and after-sales support provided by a global network of owned and authorized service centers.
At NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas last month, Nextant Aerospace EVP, Jay Hueublein, brought Aero-News CEO and Editor in Chief Jim Campbell up to speed on the company's latest projects. The company, for the first time, had three aircraft at the static area at NBAA-BACE. At the show, they introduced the Challenger 604 XT.
They have delivered more than 80 aircraft around the world.
