45 Years Of Maintenance, Repair, And Overhaul Services
B&S Aircraft Parts & Accessories is celebrating 45
years of providing maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services
for aircraft accessories, parts and components. The list of
aircraft flying with B&S overhauled components includes
virtually every type from the legacy Cessna 100-series up to the
B-1 Lancer bomber.
Founded on May 17, 1965, B&S has grown to become one of the
largest accessory and component MRO providers in the aviation
industry. Today, the company has general aviation, commercial,
government and military customers around the world. B&S became
part of AMETEK, Inc., in 2007. While it is now part of a major air
and space defense corporation, its long-time customers still
receive the same high level of personalized service they did in
1965.
"Exceeding the customer's every expectation remains our primary
goal," Richard Lewallen, B&S vice president, business unit
manager said. "We take great pride in supporting the leaders in all
facets of aviation and that their loyalty has enabled us to
continue to grow even during these challenging economic times. "The
company recently added staff to both its power and fuel systems
overhaul teams, and actively plans to hire more as the aviation
industry continues to recover.
"Pride, passion, quality and experience are the four drivers
behind our daily business," Kevin Schrader, B&S service manager
said. "I've been here for 31 years and our commitment to doing it
right the first time has helped us build a large - and long
standing - customer base worldwide."
B&S pairs its dedication to customer satisfaction with a
commitment to unsurpassed quality. The company uses only original
equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts in the overhaul and repair of
its accessories and components. "We could use less expensive parts,
but we know that OEM parts help ensure better value and
reliability, enhancing the safety of the aircraft," Schrader said.
"It has to be the best before it goes in a B&S Aircraft
box."
