Have Anyone In Mind?
You know an aviation
hero. He or she may be the person who inspired you to enter the
aviation field, a member of your PAMA Chapter or a coworker. In
fact, if you know more than 10 aviation technicians, at least one
of them has probably done something worthy of a professional award.
It may even be you.
If technical personnel are to ever achieve professional
recognition, they must first acknowledge those among them who have
gone “above and beyond” to elevate the public image of
aviation maintenance technician. PAMA’s Awards Program
includes recognition for companies, PAMA Chapters and individuals
whose recent actions and/or career are exemplary. (See nomination
form for details.) Please take the time to nominate a hero or
heroine you know for one or more of the PAMA Awards.
The deadline for nominations is March 12, 2004. Categories
include: Award of Excellence, Award of Merit/Award of Special
Merit, Chapter of the Year, Company Appreciation, Joe Chase Award,
Member Service Award and PAMA/ATP Award. To offer a nomination,
please indicate the award category and submit the form with written
reasons for the nomination, including a description of the
nominee’s performance and achievements. Other supporting
documents may be submitted in addition.
PAMA's 2004 Awards will be presented at the Annual Awards
Luncheon on May 18, 2004, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The
Luncheon will occur during the 33rd Annual Symposium - PAMA 2004:
Elevating Maintenance Professionals to New Heights.
