AD: Pacific Aerospace Ltd. Airplanes

AD NUMBER: 2019-02-02

PRODUCT: All Pacific Aerospace Ltd. Model FBA-2C1, FBA-2C2, FBA-2C3, and FBA-2C4 airplanes.

ACTION: Final rule; request for comments.

SUMMARY:  This AD was prompted by a report of corrosion found in the external and internal surfaces of an elevator push-pull rod.

This AD requires an inspection for corrosion of the elevator push-pull rod assembly, and corrective actions if necessary.

DATES: This AD becomes effective February 27, 2019. Comments must be received by March 29, 2019.

COST: The FAA estimates that this AD affects 3 airplanes of U.S. registry. Operators may incur the following costs in order to comply with this AD:

  • 1 work-hour × $85 per hour = $85 per airplane.
