Historic Spacecraft, Launch Plane In Only Public Showing

Upturn In US-India Relations Seen As Opportunity

Peschges Variometer Introduces New VFR Glass Cockpit
Systems
Peschges Variometer GmbH, maker of general aviation avionics,
will introduce its new glass cockpit systems: VP-EFIS and VP-EMS.
Both are based on a ten inch transflective TFT display, which the
company says provides great readability in bright sunshine, beneath
dark clouds or at night.
It may have been a faulty indicator -- a fire warning light in
the cockpit of a JAL 747-300 en route from Manila to Tokyo's Narita
Airport that forced the aircraft back to the Philippines capital
for an emergency landing.
The pilot of a Romanian-made Yak-52 died Sunday from injuries he

Terminal D Now North Texas' Front Door To The World
With the smooth touchdown of a Mexicana Airlines flight, DFW
International Airport last week opened the doors of its
long-anticipated International Terminal D.
