"Epic wants to become the number one or number two business jet maker in the world."

Source: An anonymous source to ANN, regarding Epic Aircraft's plans to extend far beyond the company's current strategy of marketing a handful of experimental turboprops and jets to builders, and applying lessons learned there to its plans to certify versions of those aircraft. Epic will reportedly announced a signficant investment by Dr. Vijay Mallya on Wednesday at NBAA, as well as a consulting partnership with European planemaker Airbus, to take additional steps in reaching that goal.
