Tecnam P2010 Achieves Chinese CAAC Certification

Deliveries Can Begin To Chinese Customers

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has certified the Tecnam P2010 4-seater general aviation aircraft, allowing for the start of deliveries of many pre-ordered aircraft to Chinese based customers.

The CAAC completed its extensive review and issued the Validation of the Type Certificate (No. VTC0322A) on April 26th.

The P2010 CS23 is the fourth Tecnam aircraft achieve full certification in China, following on from the P92JS, P2002JF and the twin engine P2006T.

The significant milestone of CAAC Certification was the result of extensive investment and the dedicated efforts of all members of the Tecnam organization working in very close cooperation with both the CAAC and EASA.

“We have been anticipating achieving this certification milestone which ensures Tecnam is at the forefront of a new era of General Aviation activity in China," said Paolo Pascale, Tecnam Managing Director. "I know that our P2010,next-generation four-seater will be very much appreciated by both private owners and students, for its style, flying qualities and low operating costs.”

The state of the art Tecnam P2010 is a single-engine four-seat aircraft with composite fuselage, powered by a Lycoming IO-360-M1A and Garmin avionics.
