Minnesota Institution Offers Charter Flight Coordinator Certification Program

Forty-Hour Curriculum Focuses on Improving Part 135 Safety, Efficiency, and Profitability

The Academy College Learning Institute in Bloomington, MN has launched a two-week, forty-hour, intensive, on-line course designed to help non-certified flight operation staff-members achieve certification as Charter Flight Coordinators.

The course focuses on the day-to-day aspects of Part 135 operations and familiarizes students with aircraft types, air-charter regulatory compliance, charter sales orthodoxy, and means by which to accelerate and grow charter operations.

Academy College President, Nancy Grazzini-Olson states, “We are incredibly excited about the opportunity to provide this course to charter operators.”

NATA Senior Vice President, Ryan Waguespack gave voice to long standing concerns of Part 135 operators, saying, “Based on industry feedback, we see the need for quality and timely training for charter coordinators to gain an understanding of the full scope and daily demands of this crucial position.” Waguespack went on to say, “As workforce retention and recruitment are top of mind for the aviation business industry, we look forward to the advantages programs like these will bring to individuals and businesses.”
