Bell Helicopter got radical at HeliExpo 2017. Revealing their vision for the future of rotorcraft, the FCX-001, this is Bell’s first concept aircraft.
Bell Helicopter’s Boss Mitch Snyder said, “Six months ago we created a dedicated team to focus on emerging technologies and how we could incorporate them into our products. Among that team’s first tasks was to display visually the technologies and innovations that present a roadmap that we envision bringing to market.” It was a generous year... in large part due to the Sporty’s Foundation. They made bequests totaling $157,700 during 2016 to fulfill a goal to attract young people to the aviation community as pilots and as those who design, build and maintain the aircraft we fly -- according to their most recent Annual Report, detailing activities and bequests during 2016. Two South Florida members of Congress claim that the Secret Service has no plans to ease TFR restrictions during visits by President Trump to his Mar-a-Lago home in the region. Congresswoman Lois Frankel (D-FL) and Congressman Ted Deutch (D-FL) told the McClatchy News Service that the Secret Service has
told them that the restrictions "are going to stay the way they are" ... and they were very clear on that point. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
