Will Support Multiple Engines Across A Variety Of Fleets
Rolls-Royce has received services contracts valued at up to $224 million to support US military branches and global air forces supplied by the US Department of Defense.
The contracts will support Rolls-Royce AE 2100, Adour (F405) and T56 engines across a variety of fleets. Services to be supplied by Rolls-Royce include logistics support, engineering, parts, repairs, field services and design modifications.
Recent services contracts include:
- $93.5 million for intermediate, depot and logistics support for the US Navy’s T-45 trainer fleet in Naval Air Stations in Texas and Mississippi.T-45 aircraft are powered by a single Rolls-Royce Adour (F405) engine.
- $59.5 million for integrated logistics support for US Marine Corps KC-130J aircraft. The contract also includes support for Kuwaiti aircraft through the US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
- $40 million for Component Improvement Program funding for engineering support and repairs as required on the US and FMS fleet of T56 engines, which power C-130 and P-3 aircraft.
- $31 million for a full MissionCare contract for Norway’s C-130J fleet, including logistics, sustainment, parts and field services. The 5-year contract was agreed through the US Air Force and FMS program.
- $738,000 for engineering and field services for the US Coast Guard for support of their C-27J aircraft.
