Growing Sales Create Need For Extra Help

Extra Aircraft announced Friday that Jennifer Hamilton has joined the company as Marketing Director. Extra Aircraft became a US owned and operated company in 2003 and is headquartered in Lancaster, PA, with a manufacturing plant in Germany.

Best known for its aerobatic EA-300L, Extra's product line also includes the EA-400 and EA-500, business and touring aircraft. Hamilton will be responsible for all marketing efforts, including media relations, advertising campaigns, marketing materials development and air show coordination.

"Jennifer is an accomplished professional and an important addition to the Extra Aircraft team," said Ken Weaver, president of Extra Aircraft. "As we continue to expand, Jennifer’s expertise in marketing and public relations will be invaluable to our efforts."

Hamilton previously served as a senior account executive for McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations (MP&F) in Nashville, TN. During her five years at MP&F, she developed award-winning marketing communication tools for the U.S. Navy, coordinated events for Dell Computer Corporation, developed and produced marketing videos for the American Cancer Society and created strategic marketing campaigns for the Department of Labor’s Job Corps program. For her last year and a half at MP&F, she was the point person for Extra Aircraft’s public relations and marketing efforts.

Hamilton has an extensive background in broadcast journalism with experience at various television stations including WTVF-TV (CBS, Nashville, TN) as a producer and KBMT-TV (ABC, Beaumont, TX) and KODE-TV (ABC, Joplin, MO) as an investigative journalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1991.
