NoiseBuster Earmuffs Offer Less Expensive ANR Solution

Attenuates Aircraft Engine Noise At A Fraction Of Cost Of Other Brands

Specifically designed to reduce aircraft engine noise for airport ground support crews as well as aircraft maintenance and technical personnel, the NoiseBuster Active Noise Reduction ("ANR") Safety Earmuff combines an ANSI-rated 26NRR passive earmuff with active noise reduction electronics that deliver up to an additional 20dB of low-frequency noise attenuation.

The NoiseBuster ANR Safety Earmuff is powered by a single AA battery. Specifically designed to be durable, the unit is resistant to water, moisture, contaminants, mechanical shock and vibration. The product features soft, pliable ear cushions that are replaceable and has an adjustable comfort headband. An audio input "listen-only" cord is provided. Over-the-head, behind-the-head and hard hat cap-mounted configurations are available.

Perfect for users who do not require a two-way communications capability but who can benefit from the protection against low-frequency noise that electronic or active noise canceling technology can deliver, the NoiseBuster ANR Safety Earmuff is specifically designed to reduce the noise generated by engines, generators, blowers, vacuums, fans, pumps, etc.

At a list price of $149, the NoiseBuster ANR Safety Earmuff costs hundreds of dollars less than pilot aviation headsets incorporating similar-performing active noise reduction technology.

The NoiseBuster will be demonstrated at Booth #1167 at the Aviation Industry Expo (AIE), which runs March 10-12 2009 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Additionally, visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to enter drawings to win a free NoiseBuster. At the end of each show day, there will be a drawing for a free NoiseBuster ANR Safety Earmuff.
