Swift Fuels has just announced that the company has slashed the price of its UL94 Avgas STC  to $100 for each piston aircraft.

Swift Fuels is also rolling-out its new "FOREVER" Avgas STC certificate to all Avgas STC purchasers which entitles the holder to receive all future Avgas STC's issued by the FAA to Swift Fuels for specific aircraft and piston engines at no extra charge -- Forever! So, buyers get the UL94 Unleaded Avgas STC and the Forever Avgas STC certificate - together for $100. Swift Fuels is offering the FOREVER Avgas STC certificate to every pilot and aircraft owner in the US and Canadian piston fleet, including all high compression/100-octane aircraft - for only $100. Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani, 60, of Tracy, CA was sentenced in Florida last week by U.S. District Judge Marcia G. Cooke to 37 months in prison, after previously pleading guilty to the federal charge of attempted destruction of an aircraft. According to the court record, including the facts admitted at the change of plea hearing, on or about July 17, 2019, Alani, a mechanic then employed by American Airlines at Miami International Airport (MIA), tampered with the air data module (ADM) system of an aircraft that was scheduled to depart MIA for Nassau, Bahamas. AEA intends to proceed with the 63rd annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show as planned, March 24-27, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The AEA's highest priority is the safety and security of all attendees and exhibitors at association events. The AEA is continuing to monitor the guidance from government and local authorities in relation to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The association encourages attendees to continue to plan to attend the convention if they feel well. However, we do ask all attendees to monitor their condition prior to travel, as well as review the CDC travel guidelines. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
