New Resources For Rotax Owners ISO Service Providers

RFSC Website Updated, About 500 Maintainers Listed

Rotax Flying & Safety Club has recently completed updates to the RFSC Rotax iRMT (independent Rotax Maintenance Technician) website with listings of technicians currently trained to work on BRP-Powertrain Rotax brand aircraft engines.

Over the past three years, the effort to train Rotax technicians to uniform standards has been led by the RFSC. The club has now added an important tool to assist owners in locating technicians who can perform service, maintenance, and heavy maintenance work. The network of iRMT trained by RFSC currently has some 500 individuals listed who comply with the iRMT standards. Owners simply have to search based on the city or state in which they reside or need service, and they can locate the nearest qualified iRMT. Each is listed with their qualifications, and only current technicians are listed on the site.  Each iRMT is required to keep their rating current by competing training every 24 months.

The website also offers contact information for more than 65 independent repair centers ... facilities which are authorized by their respective Rotax independent Service Centers and which meet standards that parallel FAR part 145 Repair Stations.
