JetBlue Gives Customers Something To Be Thankful For

Watch Football And Get A Free Beer

If you must travel by air on Thanksgiving and you're a football fan loath to miss the traditional holiday games, you might consider flying with JetBlue this year.

In addition to its claimed low-fares, JetBlue announced Wednesday customers traveling on Thanksgiving will be offered a complimentary beer or cocktail to accompany their personal seat-back television -- complete with their own remote control!

JetBlue says beer completes the American holiday tradition for most flying football fans as they savor the best dish of the day: 36 channels of programming via satellite dish on every plane. That includes CBS coverage of the Miami Dolphins at Detroit Lions game at 12:30 p.m. ET and the 3:30 p.m. ET Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys game on FOX.

"JetBlue customers can enjoy the comfort of home in the skies this Thanksgiving with a front-row seat to the game and a free beer," said Eric Brinker, JetBlue's Director of Brand Management and Customer Experience. "Our customers deserve the best, whether it's a second helping of snacks, a cornucopia of inflight entertainment choices or friendly, award-winning service. It's our way of saying 'thanks' and providing the best possible flying experience every day of the year."

JetBlue's is also offering a variety of holiday snacks hand-delivered by its inflight staff. It says the snacks are free and unlimited, and requests for seconds or thirds are always encouraged.

JetBlue currently serves 47 destination with 470 daily flights.
