PS Engineering Announces Drop-In Replacement Audio Panel

Unit Undergoing TSO Testing For Q4 2024 Deliveries

PS Engineering introduced on October 22 at NBAA-BACE 2024 its new PAC37, a drop-in, plug-and-play replacement audio panel for light to medium business jets.

PS Engineering says that market has been neglected and the PAC37 is a reliable, easy-to-install system at a reasonable price. Because of its many connections to COM and NAV radios, many owner/operators choose to retain legacy audio panels even when upgrading the primary avionics suite.

The PAC37 is intended to be a direct replacement for the Baker series 1045 analog audio panels, and is backwards compatible with legacy radios but with additional functionality. The additional functions include independent Bluetooth in each audio panel for cell phones, IntelliVOX® auto-squelch, 35-second PTT disconnect, support for three stations, and more.

The PAC37 is currently being tested for TSO Qualification and will be available for deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2024. Initial installations are directed to Gulfstream platforms, with Dassault Falcon and Bombardier Challenger to follow soon thereafter.

PS Engineering has become a principal manufacturer of audio control systems for both general aviation and special mission applications. The company has been an innovator in retrofit avionics, having been the first to introduce the IRS Internal Recording System and Bluetooth in audio control systems. PS Engineering has a network of more than authorized dealers/installers around the world.
