Light Sport Airplanes West Plans Grand Opening Fly-In For End Of April

LSA Showroom Offers Planes From Six Manufacturers

If you're interested in purchasing a new light sport aircraft, you may want to consider making a trip out west next month.

That's when Salinas, CA-based Light Sport Airplanes West will hold a Grand Opening Fly-In to celebrate the opening of its large, glass-walled LSA Showroom -- featuring aircraft from six LSA manufacturers.

Representatives with LSAW tell ANN the event will be held Saturday, April 28 from 1400-1800 PDT, at the company's facility next door to the Salinas Municipal Airport (SNS). The company bills itself as the only dealer offering LSAs from six different manufacturers, all under one roof.

Attendees of the Grand Opening celebration will be able to speak with distributor representatives for each of the manufacturers LSAW offers: Flight Design USA, TL Ultralight, Evektor, Tecnam, Remos, and Jabiru (shown below).

Flight demonstrations will also be available for interested customers. This event also includes static aircraft displays, a ribbon cutting, buffet lunch, and aviation vendor displays.
