Avfuel Unveils New Training Designator On Fuel Finder

Provides Information About Training For FBO Staff In Fuel Handling

Avfuel recently unveiled a new designator on its avfuel.com fuel finder: ATS for the Avfuel Training System. Now, when operators search for fueling locations at avfuel.com, they are able to easily identify which Avfuel-branded FBOs subscribe to the comprehensive training system in addition to the availability of Avfuel Contract Fuel and its pricing, and the availability of AVTRIP and special promotions.

By clicking on the ATS designator in the symbol key, fuel decision makers can learn more about how Avfuel-branded FBOs train their staff members in the proper handling of fuel and rampside services. This means flight departments can rest assured that their aircraft and their passengers are in adept hands when flying in the Avfuel Network.

Customers who have completed the Avfuel Training System are proficient in fuel handling and fire safety, aviation fuels and additives, fuel system icing inhibitor, contaminants and fuel testing methods, procedures for receiving a load of fuel, aviation fueling components, fuel storage systems, mobile refueling equipment, aircraft fueling and general operations, marshalling, towing, record keeping, de- and anti-icing, aviation security, front counter operations and premier customer service.

“Now, savvy fuel decision makers will not only be able to see the contract fuel price and amenities at the FBO, but also that the FBO’s staff participated in Avfuel’s comprehensive, online training program,” said Marci Ammerman, Avfuel’s vice president of marketing.

Developed with the FBO in mind, the online Avfuel Training System offers valuable instruction on safe procedures and industry best practices for rampside, front counter and customer care services. As a cost-effective solution for new and recurrent training, all Avfuel-branded FBOs have access to the best training solutions possible so pilots and passengers can rest easy when they fly in and fuel up in the Avfuel Network.
