Brutal Weekend For GA MidAirs (2): Three Birds Busted In CA

Thankfully, No Injuries -- Except To Wallet

The pilot of a Citabria apparently ran into some difficulties while landing, went off the runway, and clobbered two other aircraft. While we're not sure that this can be called a legitimate midair, it was one of two well-publicized GA collision accidents this past weekend.

The Friday accident occured at 1100 local time at a heavilyu utilized GA Airport about 20 NM north of LAX.
