STC Expected Later This Year

Textron Aviation announced that the Gogo Galileo HDX will be available as an aftermarket installation on Cessna Citation jets after the FAA Supplemental Type Certification is received as expected in late 2025.

Customers will be able to enjoy in-flight connectivity with the global Low Earth Orbit solution anywhere in the world. The Gogo Galileo HDX ensures customers benefit from its global connectivity with reliable performance.

The system was purpose-built for business aviation customers. It consists of two Line Replaceable Units or LRUs, the HDX antenna that is mounted on the fuselage, and the AVANCE technology router that minimizes downtime.

The STC is anticipated to include the Cessna Citation X+, X, Sovereign+, Sovereign, Latitude, XLS Gen2, XLS+, XLS, Excel, CJ4 Gen2, CJ4, CJ3+, CJ3, CJ2+, CJ2, M2 Gen2, M2, CJ1+, and CJ1.

Installations will be available at domestic Textron Aviation Service Centers upon final approval of the STC by the FAA. Type certification approval by the EASA (European Aviation Safety  Agency, and the TCAA (Transport Canada Civil Aviation) are expected at a later date.
