We Have To Quit Fooling Around

by ANN Associate Editor Pete Combs

I've been reading the ANN archive. Shameful.

Look, I came on board this wing-and-a-prayer operation with the intent of applying serious journalistic ethics to covering the Aviation Community. Serious ethics, I tell you.

And then I come across the April 1, 2002 edition of ANN. What a disgrace (holding head in hands). Talk about shock and awe... the sheer silliness of the entire operation almost caused me to turn in my keyboard.

Almost.

But being the serious journalist that I am, the guy who came on board to give this crew a tiny shred of respectability, I can assure you that, under no circumstances, will ANN publish another whacky slate of stupid stories intended to lampoon and parody.

No, sir. Ain't gonna happen. Not on my watch.

[E-I-C Note: Wanna bet? heheheheh.... See y'all Tuesday!]
