On A Budget? Ya Gotta Love This...

American Eurocopter announced that it is freezing the cost of spare parts for models AS350, AS355, AS365, EC130 and EC155. The price freeze will remain valid through December 31, 2003.

"These price changes demonstrate Eurocopter's continuing commitment to stabilize or reduce one of the largest operating costs associated with helicopters, that of spare parts replacement," said Mike Muniz, Director, Logistics Support.

Replacement , reflecting Eurocopter's intent to reduce the direct maintenance costs for these two models. The price for spare parts for the BO/BK series will see a modest increase. Complete pricing information will be available by February 1, and can be obtained through the Espares page on Eurocopter's website.

"Eurocopter continues to make customer service and support a key priority," Muniz said. "We're dedicated to helping our customers control their operating costs." Eurocopter will also help its customers plan for 2003 by offering a customized pricing analysis based on 2002 total purchases to determine their costs for the coming year.

Eurocopter is a wholly-owned subsidiary of EADS.
