Avidyne Steps Up Service, Warranty Support

Upgrades New-And-Existing-Product Coverage

Avidyne Corporation tells Aero-News the company has enhanced its new-product warranty support, and extended those enhancements to its FLEX Extended Warranty service plans for the Entegra integrated flight deck products and for the FlightMax Multi-Function Displays (MFDs). The new service plans significantly upgrade the coverage of existing warranties.

For example, the new product warranty and FLEX service plans now provide overnight and priority one-day exchange service options throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Latin America. Added benefits include costs associated with coverage of dealer removal, replacement and calibration as well as shipping to and from Avidyne’s repair center.

Under the new plans, products requiring service can also be exchanged quickly, and shipping for both the replacement unit and the returned unit are covered in the new plans. Additionally, customers can manage their plans through MyAvidyne.com, also providing support for MultiLink, text messaging, flight tracking, CMax management, and more.

"Our enhanced warranty and FLEX service plans demonstrate Avidyne’s commitment to delivering the best customer and technical support in general aviation," said Avidyne President Dan Schwinn.

The New-Product Warranty and FLEX Extended Service plans are currently available for all Entegra and FlightMax products. Existing customers can purchase the FLEX warranty through their MyAvidyne.com account.
