Embraer Opens Scholarships For Aeronautical Engineering M.S.

Advanced Degree Run In Partnership With Brazilian ITA

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer announced it has opened scholarship applications for the new edition of its Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering Program, a career advancement initiative conducted in partnership with the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA). It offers an initial monthly stipend of R$5,000 to students accepted into the program.

The master’s program is completed over an 18-month period during which the selected candidates will take part via both in-person and remotes classes held in São José dos Campos (SP), Brazil, at Embraer’s headquarters and ITA.

The curriculum will be taught by professionals from ITA, Embraer, and external consultants. Students graduate with a professional master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering that is recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education.

Andreza Alberto, Vice President of People, ESG, and Corporate Communications at Embraer said, “Developing people is a strategic investment and a hallmark of Embraer’s culture. By the end of the program, the hiring rate of these new talents is high, over 96%. To date, more than 1,600 graduates from the initiative have joined our team, helping us design the future of aviation.”

The program is open for applications from professionals who graduated in 2023, 2024, or 2025, with a degree in engineering in these fields:

Aeronautical or Aerospace, Environmental, Automotive, Civil, Computer, Control and Automation, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Physics, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Materials, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Metallurgical, Mining, Naval, Nuclear, Petroleum, Production, Chemical, Robotics, Systems, Software, Telecommunications, and Transportation.

Applications will be accepted until September 7, 2025, at Embraer’s website. Classes are to begin in February 2026, with initial monthly scholarships of R$5,000 that increases 20% in the second year. Students also receive medical and dental insurance, life insurance, and meal allowances.
