Bell Canada Opens Expanded Logistics Center

Located At YYC Industrial Park

Bell Helicopter Canada opened its new 38,000 square foot Canadian Supply Center this weekend. The upgraded facility is located in the Calgary International Airport's YYC Global Logistics Parks.

Bell Helicopter's new Calgary home will continue to be the primary Canadian distribution facility for the company as well as an important addition to the Airport's growing trade community.

Mike Blake, Bell's executive vice-president for Customer Solutions said, "Bell is known through-out the rotorcraft industry for its customer support and in fact have been rated #1 for 14 consecutive years. As we continue to expand internationally facilities like this will help us provide the level of service our customers have come to expect from Bell."

"This new location will allow us the opportunity to grow and expand our business, providing us the increased ability to service market demands," addedColin Bartole, Manager -- Bell Helicopter Canadian Supply Center, said.

"As a leader in the rotary wing industry, our alignment with the front runners in the Canadian airport business development market certainly lends itself to a strong OEM (original equipment manufacturer) representation in Calgary for years to come."

Bell Helicopter produces commercial and military, manned and unmanned vertical lift aircraft. Bell's global workforce serves customers flying Bell aircraft in more than 120 countries.
