EFS Garmin GNS 530/430 Training Module Accepted For FAA 'WINGS' Credit

Now Added to Current Modules Approved for "Wings" Credit

FAA Aviation Safety Program Manger, Kevin Clover, has now approved the ElectronicFlight CompleteLearning™ Garmin 530/430 GPS Navigation Module as a substitute for the required "Wings" ground training. This is the fourth module in the Library accepted by the FAA with the approval last month of the Weather, Terrain and Traffic Awareness modules for Pilot Proficiency Award Program and "Wings" credits. Pilots will actually take an online quiz at the ElectronicFlight CompleteLearning™ Testing Center, earning a full color Pilot Proficiency Certificate which is applied towards "Wings" credit. Insurance companies reportedly look favorably at "Wings" currency when applying discounts.

ElectronicFlight Solutions, Inc. offers the ElectronicFlight CompleteLearning™ Avionics Software Library of computer-based, just-in-time training products to the general aviation and corporate marketplace. Working in conjunction with AEA-member avionics shops, certified flight instructors, flight schools and aviation colleges on an international basis, ElectronicFlight provides interactive, media-rich software training products. The Library includes Autopilot, GPS, Traffic, Terrain and Weather Awareness technologies from leading manufacturers including Honeywell-Bendix/King, Garmin, Goodrich, Collins, S-TEC, Sandel, Avidyne, UPSAT, Ryan and others.
