PRODUCT: All Airbus SAS Model A330-200 Freighter series airplanes.

DATES: This AD is effective September 9, 2019.

COST: The FAA estimates  that this AD affects 5 airplanes of U.S. registry. Operators may incur the following costs in order to comply with this AD:

  • Labor cost: 14 work-hours × $85 per hour = $1,190 per airplane.

According to the manufacturer, some or all of the costs of this AD may be covered under warranty, thereby reducing the cost impact on affected individuals.
