Lone Star Flight Museum To Hold 2nd Annual 1940’s Hangar Dance

The Lone Star Flight Museum is pleased to announce it’s 2nd Annual 1940’s Hangar Dance featuring the Ronnie Renfrow Big Band to be held March 15, 2003 at 7:00 PM.

Swing, jitterbug and waltz the night away to the sounds of yesteryear among the greatest aircraft of the day.  The Hangar Dance will also feature a best-dressed contest for both civilian and military styles and prizes for the best dancing duo.

The Houston based Ronnie Renfrow Big Band plays throughout the state of Texas for wedding receptions, galas, benefits, company parties and great occasions of every kind.  The eighteen piece band enjoys a loyal following of their wide ranging repertoire that plays to any age and taste with dynamic, visual impact and dramatic flair.

The Lone Star Flight Museum contains an award winning, flying collection of over 30 historically significant aircraft. Museum aircraft present America’s rich aviation heritage to all generations at over 40 aviation events across the country each year. The Lone Star Flight Museum is located on Galveston’s west end next to Moody Gardens at the Galveston International Airport at Scholes Field.
