Erickson Air-Crane has won a two-year contract to provide medical evacuation (“MEDEVAC”) service and support for the United States Army at Fort Wainwright and Fort Greenly in Alaska. The award was made to Evergreen Helicopters Incorporated (“EHI”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Erickson, and has a total contract value in excess of $10 million. Task orders were awarded on September 1, 2013.

Udo Rieder, Chief Executive Officer of Erickson, commented, “Evergreen has been flying in support of this program since its inception in 2008, and we’re pleased to see this work continue under the Erickson banner. We are very proud to provide these essential MEDEVAC services to the men and women of the armed forces, and regard this contract as a prime example of our broad range of capabilities that can serve a diverse range of missions in any operational theatre around the globe.”

Erickson will provide dedicated aircraft, management and supervision, personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, tools, and transportation to perform air medical evacuation and training for the U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Wainwright and U.
