Aero-TV: Fielden Aero Named Sole US Distributor of Flybox Avionics

Partners Bring Advanced, Budget-Friendly Avionics to the US Experimental Market

Flybox has been a big name in the European avionics market for more than 20 years, and now, the technology has finally made it’s way to the US under the Fielden Aero name. Fielden was named the exclusive US distributor of Flybox Avionics just ahead of this year’s EAA Oshkosh AirVenture.

“I ran across one of their products and was really impressed with the technology compared to its price point,” commented Don Fielden, Owner of Fielden Aero. “You get a very, highly capable set of avionics… for a very competitive price.”

Flybox Avionics manufactures a wide range of aircraft instrumentation, ranging from its flagship 7.5-inch Electronic Flight Instrument System with autopilot and camera capabilities to propeller and flap controls to essentially modernized six-pack gauges. The company is geared towards light sports and ultralights, aiming to give experimental aircraft owners the safety-enhancing features of their dreams without breaking the bank.

Fielden Aero already has a lengthy resume in the sport aviation community. The company is a forefront provider of Aquilae Kitplanes as well as the sole manufacturer and distributor of the two-seat Aeropup in the US.

The partners showcased their lineup for the first time at the 2025 Oshkosh AirVenture airshow and, according to Fielden, “the reception has been surprisingly well, considering how new this set of avionics is to the US market and the fact that nobody has heard of it before.”
