OurPLANE Adds SR22, C-182T to Fractional Fleet

OurPlane™ has increased its fleet at both Toronto's Brampton and California's John Wayne airports. A new Cessna 182-T (top) is now available in Canada, while a Cirrus SR22 has joined the lineup in Orange County. Each plane represents the fifth company machine at each location.

OurPlane, based in London (Ontario, Canada), offers fractional ownership of light GA aircraft, and manages 14 aircraft, at the bases above, as well as in Houston, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oxford (CT), and in Calgary (Alberta) and Vancouver (British Columbia).

CEO Graham Casson noted, "For the first time, people can fly a brand-new factory-certified airplane at a fraction of the cost of buying new. Fractional ownership is showing its appeal to pilots who are seeking real value in aircraft ownership."

OurPlane offers 1/8 shares, with ascending ownership rights. Share owners can purchase fractions that allow 25, 50, 100, or unlimited flight hours. OurPlane has been able to provide better than 95% availability to all groups; and the additional aircraft -- they plan on managing over 100 in the next two years -- will serve to increase even that record.

Company literature says, "...Unlike the fractional jet ownership companies, whose aircraft roam the country to meet their owners and take them to destinations, OurPlane aircraft are specific-city-based, and return there once a trip is completed. Once a critical mass of aircraft is reached in a location, the availability of aircraft to share-owners climbs to nearly 100%."
