EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024 Awaits the Aviation World!

World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration July 22-28

Final preparations for the 2024 EAA AirVenture at Wittman Regional Airport are – and have been – underway for the arrival of more than 10,000 aircraft and 650,000 people during the week of July 22-28.

That will be the weeklong convention for all things aviation.

That will be the week OSH is the busiest airport in the world with the busiest air traffic control tower in the world.

Getting to Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture is THE annual reunion for old friends and new in the aviation family, where we all get to see new products, technology, gadgets, and gizmos that make aviation easier in some fashion, and oh yes- airplanes!

Airplanes of all shapes and sizes from hot air balloons to the hottest military fighter jets.

Vendors and exhibits galore, both outside along the streets and taxiways, and inside the four large exhibit hangars.

AirVenture 2024 will feature:

  • Royal Canadian Air Force’s 100th anniversary with performances by the Canadian Forces Snow Birds, CF-18 Demo Team, Avro Lancaster Mk. X, and more. July 26-28.
  •  Appearance by Miss America Madison Marsh, who is also on active duty in the U.S. Air Force.
  • Commemoration of the 80-year anniversary of 1944’s “Turning of the Tide” in World War II with a large gathering of D-Day and other World War II-era aircraft.
  • Appearance by The Frecce Tricolori aerobatic demo team of the Italian Air Force (July 23)
  • Military flight demonstrations by the F-16, F-22, F-35, and A-10 demo teams to give a shout out to the Air Force Materiel Command.

Rick Larsen, EAA’s vice president of communities and member programs, who coordinates AirVenture features and attractions said, “EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is considered by many to be aviation’s family reunion because of the wide variety of aircraft that fly into Wittman Regional Airport every year. Oshkosh continues to be a household name and premier destination for pilots around the world.”

Remember: Attendees ages 18 and under get free admission again this year supported in part by The Boeing Company.

Advance tickets and camping reservations are available at the link below.

We hope to see you there!
