The airport -- home to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association -- may soon see rate hikes and landing fees as part of the city's next budget, as Airport Manager Charles Abell sees an opportunity to extract revenue from pilots of transient aircraft -- which make up 18 percent of Frederick's traffic.
