ALPA Welcomes Reps. Graves And Larsen T&I Reappointments

Both Committed To Strengthen U.S. Leadership In Aviation

Capt. Jason Ambrosi, President of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), released the statement below regarding the reappointment of U.S. Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO) as Chair of the key House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure:

"Congratulations to Chair Graves on his reappointment to lead the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. His continued leadership comes at a crucial time for American aviation as we work to maintain our position as the global leader in air safety and innovation.

"His deep understanding of our aviation system will ensure we remain the gold standard for decades to come. I look forward to working with Chair Graves and the Committee to advance aviation safety for the American people."

Capt. Ambrosi also released the following statement regarding the selection of U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen (D-WA) to continue serving as Ranking Member of the same House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure:

"We congratulate Rep. Larsen on his selection to continue serving as Ranking Member. As aviation safety professionals, we value his proven commitment to transportation infrastructure and aviation safety throughout his tenure. His leadership will be essential as we address the critical safety and infrastructure challenges facing our nation's air transportation system.

"We look forward to working with Rep. Larsen and the entire committee to advance policies that strengthen aviation safety and maintain the United States' position as the global leader in air transportation."
