AJW Technique Receives EASA Part-145 Approval

Continues To Fast Track Its Component Repair And Overhaul Capabilities

Component repair services provider AJW Technique has been awarded EASA Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organisation status. This follows the Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approval, recognized by the FAA, which was granted last month.

“This achievement further underlines the determination of AJW to develop its world-class total solutions and services to both existing and prospective customers," said Gavin Simmonds, General Manager of AJW Technique. "We have our first unit repaired and leaving the Montréal operation ... and it will be the first of many. Our focus will always be on the quality and streamlining of processes for optimum turn-around times.”

The Montréal facility is now the centralised hub for the global AJW repair supply chain and will deliver a broad range of component repair and overhaul services to the A J Walter Aviation customer base of more than 800 airlines. Achieving TCCA and EASA approvals paves the way to attaining other regulatory authority accreditations. During 2013 AJW Technique will also pursue AS9110 approval, ensuring AJW Technique is in line with the AJW group philosophy of best-in-class.

AJW Technique provides a broad range of component repair and overhaul services to the A J Walter Aviation customer base of more than 800 airlines.
